Pia’s last week in NY, we spent most of our time at the fish and dog bar(totally not the name of it) in williamsburg, such a mellow bar.. got a new manual camera and gave it a whirl, results are a little different than usual and wal mart scratched my negs to shit. i guess they have that “cool old look”.
I had my film developed at wal mart and they kinda butchered the scanning, until i can scan them myself in here’s what i got…
Keira bought me tickets to see Roky Erickson for my bday, it was a mega bro fest but my camera was in the process of breaking so I didn’t get many photos.
First stop on nye was huey’s bike shop/apt…

Then on to LA. Whenever Pia would pick me up from the airport we would end up at the Baker house somehow, this time we ended up at the Deathwish Warehouse

So I’m in LA for a quick vaca, I haven’t updated in so long because my camera broke and I haven’t really been doing much worth documenting. Winter is pretty boring and it’s so unbelievably cold that I pretty much never want to leave the house. Until I develop my film from LA here are some cell phone photos from the past couple months up until now, half of them I had to take from someone else’s phone and send to mine because my stupid iphone camera is busted. Super awesome.

2009 was pretty brutal, I am thrilled to leave it behind. 2010 has started off pretty positive and am actually looking forward to what the rest of the year has to offer. Especially summer!

Here’s some random photos from shoots I worked on this year…
I worked on a shoot last week that had the most amazing views of the city, I was right next to the world trade center site which was really weird for me. Since I was never in the trade center in the almost 11 years I’ve been in ny, I’ve never been that high in a building directly next to it, it gave me this weird sense of scale and understanding about being in the trade center and what it must have been like for all those poor people. Anyways, not to be a bummer. The view was rad.
I’m upstate now for the holidays and my favorite place on earth has re-opened. They still have the same menu for some reason, and I’m so thankful for that!
